Impressions of an afternoon in honor of Eja Siepman van den Berg, winner of the Wilhelminaring 2017

Sunday June 3, 2018, in Apeldoorn, a celebration and unveiling of a sculpture took place, in honor of Eja Siepman van den Berg, winner of the 2017 Wilhelminaring. 

This, in the presence of Corrie van der Veen, Chairwoman Stichting Wilheminaring, and Chairman of the Jury, Wim Pijbes.

At the CODA Museum Apeldoorn director Carin Reinders opened an honorary exhibtition, presenting a rich choice from Eja Siepman van den Berg's body of work. 

The Wilhelminaring is a national oeuvre prize that has been awarded every  two years since 1998 to a prominent Dutch sculptor. It is one of the most important art prizes in the Netherlands.

​The prize consists of a specially designed ring, De Wilhelminaring, a poem, an exhibition in the Coda Museum and a commission for a work in the Sprengenpark in Apeldoorn.
