Sculpture Gallery Het Depot is a museological stage for contemporary sculpture. With no less than 39 works, Het Depot is home of an impressive, permanent exhibition of Eja Siepman van den Berg's sculpture, presented in the lavish setting of the 19th century Villa Hinkeloord. With a collection of works from three decades, Scupture Gallery Het Depot offers a unique insight in the development of Eja Siepman den Bergs body of work. Het Depot has three locations, connected by Arboretum De Dreijen. Apart from the permanent exhibition of Eja Siepman van den Berg, the main building showcases exhibitions of work by contemporary sculptors. Part of location Hinkeloord is Arboretum Hinkeloord; an exhibition on both arboreta can also be found at Villa Hinkeloord. |
Through the years, Sculpture Gallery Het Depot has published extensively on various aspects of contemporary sculpture.
In 2011, Het Depot published the catalogue 'Eja Siepman van den Berg', with contributions by Huub Mous and Bieke van der Mark.
