Eja Siepman van den Berg's destrinctive take on the human body took first shape in 1972, with her sculpture 'Staand meisje'. Since then, Siepman van den Berg has in various ways focussed on the qualities of the human body. 

Her sculptures -- in marble, bronze, resin or wax -- convey the beauty of the human body, ánd touch the main themes of sculpture in general: the ​​​importance of proportion and scale, symmetrie and balance.
